Nampa continues to grow as one of Idaho's largest cities and the heart of Canyon County. Alongside plenty of new construction, its historic downtown remains part of the city's character, and homes often give buyers more for the money than Ada County.
The Ford Idaho Center brings concerts and the Snake River Stampede rodeo to town. Outdoors, residents have Lake Lowell and the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge.
Looking for value or a little more space? Nampa is a popular choice with first-time buyers, families and anyone after extra room, and Scott can help you compare neighborhoods.
Those include established areas in town and newer subdivisions. Homes on larger lots sit toward the edges of town and near Lake Lowell.
Part of the reason is geography, since Nampa is a bit farther from Boise. Canyon County has also historically had lower prices than Ada County, often giving buyers more home or land.
Boating and hiking around Lake Lowell, concerts and the Snake River Stampede at the Ford Idaho Center, and downtown's shops and restaurants all keep residents busy.
As of October 2026, the median asking price for a single-family home in Nampa is $490,917, about $243 per square foot, with 586 homes listed for sale.
The typical listing in Nampa has been on the market 56 days, and 38% of listings have had a price reduction.
